The Giant Yellow-Throated Boa, better known as the Cobso Killer, is a reptile native to southeast Asia and the Philippines, and the largest natural predator of Cobson.

Description

Cobso Killers spend much of their time resting in the safety of trees. Because of this the Cobso Killer often has a very low amount of energy and struggles to pursue fast moving animals. Being so large, they can also get tired and exhausted fairly quickly. If it cannot catch it's prey in the first few minutes of the hunt then the prey often has a high chance of escape.

The Cobso Killer is one of the most impressive animals on the planet, and is one of the most feared animals in the jungle. Cobson primates are very weary of the Cobso Killer, and will do almost anything to avoid them. This is likely because a Cobson is not a match for a Cobso Killer. The Cobson would likely be quickly overpowered by the giant snake. That being said, some Cobson primates may offer their young as a distraction to the killer.

The Cobso Killer is almost always larger than the Cobson. Their massive girth enables the serpent to coil around the Cobson and deliver its neurotoxic venom. They will often sit and watch the Cobson for hours waiting for the perfect time to strike. They can go months without eating and usually only need around 1 large Cobson meal every few weeks.

If a Cobson were to encounter a Cobso Killer its best chance of survival would be to run at the serpent rather than run away. Cobson monkeys have an extremely sharp set of teeth that they can use to deliver a deadly bite. An effective alternative strategy would also be to climb to the highest point of a tree, where the Cobso Killer would struggle to pursue and consume the Cobson.

Prey

Their prey consists mainly of Cobson (Calculus cobsonus), from which they derive their common name. It is a species of primate that is known for its unique red skin, long fur, and flat nose. It lives in dense, tropical forests. It is a nocturnal animal, and sleeps during the day. It feeds on fruits, leaves, and berries, but rarely eats meat. It is a highly endangered species.

The Cobson is also very dangerous. It has huge incisors and can bite through flesh and bone. It is also very fast, and can run up to 40 miles per hour. It is a skilled hunter and has been known to take down large prey such as deer and wild boar.

Aside from Cobson Killers, Cobson primates have also been known to be prey for leopards and other big cats.
