Even though is a logical conjunction.[1] It is an important linguistic phrase in Soyspeak, and is commonly used on the 'party to explain why thing bad even though reason why it's not.

Usage
If the beginning statement is exceptionally long and wordy, soyical writers may want to consider adding "is le bad" before introducing "even though" so that it can more easily be understood, even though its improper english.
