A false flag is an operation which is usually carried out by three letter agencies to control the narratives that can potentially damage them. This is a frequent occurrence on various imageboards, where its inherent anonymous nature makes it easy to disguise the operatives among the users.

Note the shoddy writing style, even for usual falseflag standards. This is a 12 year olds idea of a secret discord group.[1]

Conspiracy theory

According to multiple fact-checking organizations, this term is wrongly used by chuds whenever something that increases popular opinion for more government control happens (like school shootings or whatever) because governmental agencies ARE NOT capable of committing such things, as they lack the human and monetary resources to be able to do so.[2] Indeed, the only way to stop such heinous actions from happening in the future is by both increasing the amount of funds allocated to governmental organizations and updating obsolete laws (such as the constitution) to our brand new world order.

Discord falseflags

Falseflagging also refers to a common strategy used to disrupt the sharty in which any new meme or raid is immediately posted alongside fabricated discord screenshots, implying that Der Cord was responsible for its creation. These are very easily deboonkable every time, as OP always has to answer 2 questions: Why he was in this server in the first place, and why he seems to be unable to leak any more of the elusive discord other than a handful of conversation screenshots. In fact, actual 'cord users have admitted to employing these strategies themselves. They do this because they are insecure about how much influence they actually hold over the site so they have to attach themselves to every new trend they can find.

Despite this, teens keep falling for misinformation campaigns, perhaps due to a lack of ability in reading social cues, albeit it is unknown to what degree that also is just samefagging. In conclusion, you should stop having discord live rent free in your head, giving them attention which is exactly what they want. Instead, just define your judgement of memes and raids by how gemmy you find them.
