This second gooner guy takes this conflict very seriously.

• He claims to have the moral high ground and goes after his anti-goon opponents. He also complained about the coverage of this conflict here.
• He tried multiple times to persuade other soyteens to join him to no avail. He also likes to samefag a lot and is not very subtle about it.
• He isn't giving up and has resorted to posting in the sticky on /nate/.

It seems like this guy genuinely tries to turn sharty into a porn site. But it'll never happen so he lost from the start GEG. --Tefal (talk) 20:10, 28 March 2024 (EST)

I agree, and you can just look at the log at any given moment, and you will see the samefag gooner claiming victory with a single thread, or posting in the sticky pathetically. The oekaki guy isn't even spamming anymore, he's just talking with it because of how low the resistance is. They also post in anti-goon threads, which completely defeats the purpose of a catty wiping war because nobody will see it and it isn't wiping anything off the catty. It looks like the gooners just gave up.

Extra context autism for those reading/editing to unload from the main page The most contentious point seems to be the rant about honor, which may come off as partisan, which it is, but it is all still true. The gooners were indeed gloating about their advantage in only needing to keep a few threads alive and mocking the actions that would later be called "honorable" and praised. It is also true that gooners were giving lip service to froot after he implemented changes that favored them, while screaming about the rogue janny (a janny that they later bring up as well and blame for deleting threads that I PERSONALLY slid, this combined with the fact that I can't recall root addressing this "rogue janny" leads me to believe this janny may have been a boogyman all along, or at least an embellished tale). He also made an account specifically for this war with a name "soy historian" to lend himself credibility and a veil of objectivity for this article even doe he's clearly partisan, and even a revisionist.

The second contention is the outcome, which is an undeniable victory. Just looking at the log at the time of writing, it's ZERO goon threads and it's been like that for hours. I have no doubt the war will continue long into the future but the main course has concluded. And this conclusion is a victory. Just looking at the set goals, of wiping and preserving threads, it's clear which side won. The "stalemate" was something pushed by the ankhafag who failed the attrition check, he at first tried to make anti gooners concede to gooner victory saying "lets just call it a gooner victory and leave it at that" which he changed to stalemate once he saw the extent of anti gooner tenacity. Now he's trying to push a narrative of mutual agreement to a stalemate even doe this never happened and his threads talking about a stalemate got slid. This isn't bias this is blatant historic revisionism

A less poignant contention is what happened on the 21st, I documented the events according to UTC, including which threads were wiped and when the surrender happened. The only way I see ankhafags edits not being blatant lies is if he lives in a timezone where the 21st ended before 10 AM UTC.

Less relevant, but he's insistent on saying he surrendered to honeybunsjak because he seethes over automationBVLLs, even doe it was the automated spam that contributed half if not more to said victory. He even made a reply saying something along the lines of "say I fell to honeybunsjak, trump is a spammer and doesnt deserve the victory". This is one of many visible displays of a buck being broken, with others visible on this wiki page he's trying to hijack. And also just coming to me now is the fact that originally this "surrender" was claimed to be a truce but even he gave up this narrative! All of this should show the character of ankhafag and the lengths of his SHAMELESS historic revisionism will go. revisionism of HISTORY no older than A DAY and in some cases 20 MINUTES!

Lastly, stop blogposting. This isn't your personal journal, keep it relevant and leave out the shit nobody cares about

Right on. Right now, the gooners are no where to be seen. They aren't even replying at the moment. It's like they've been driven out of their own board entirely. If a twitter immigrant discovered /nate/ right now, they wouldn't know that /nate/ is a gooner board. They'd think it is a gore spam board. I'm not sure what else this war will produce in the future, but it certainly looks like a massive anti-gooner win.
