== "What makes this different from the 'ru?" ==
== First and foremost, I would like to thank you for the interest; and as to answer your question:
What separates jaks.zip from the booru is of several reasons; ==
1. The booru is for anyone to post, and it's what I would refer to as a dump for anything soyjak related. Jaks.zip on the other hand, is in development to be a comprehensive archive/gallery for anyone who needs a starter folder or templates for example. Let's call it a standardization of our beloved soyjaks. (or however you spell the word word)
2. An issue with the booru stemming from reason 1, is that anyone can post, and there is no quality measurement. Also not even the original filename stays, etc.
Features that jaks.zip offers in quality improvements/quality checks for the jaks might include the following:
* Removing/fixing any mistakes that were drawn on the jaks.
* Proper transparent backgrounds (If possible) - An example I can give you is Frootjak, who even currently (before me uploading the new Frootjak) was originally uploaded with missed spots on his beard, which are actually quite obvious. The list goes on.
* Reasonable filesizes, the jaks go through a compression procedure for their selected file-type without actually losing any quality. This might seem useless until we consider upload speeds and the actual filesize of the folder if none are compressed. And if you're wondering, I've seen some jaks lose up to 80% of their filesize after compression, without losing quality of course.
* Removing .JPG compression from a .PNG file, notably neutralplier for example.
3. And finally, that the booru does not give you everything you want in a single folder, of course you'll have to collect it all yourself. (And without the aforementioned improvements) People new to this or ones who lost their own collections, (retards) could just download this.
Thank you for asking this.

"What makes this different from the 'ru?"

== First and foremost, I would like to thank you for the interest; and as to answer your question: What separates jaks.zip from the booru is of several reasons; ==

  • Removing/fixing any mistakes that were drawn on the jaks.
  • Proper transparent backgrounds (If possible) - An example I can give you is Frootjak, who even currently (before me uploading the new Frootjak) was originally uploaded with missed spots on his beard, which are actually quite obvious. The list goes on.
  • Reasonable filesizes, the jaks go through a compression procedure for their selected file-type without actually losing any quality. This might seem useless until we consider upload speeds and the actual filesize of the folder if none are compressed. And if you're wondering, I've seen some jaks lose up to 80% of their filesize after compression, without losing quality of course.

3. And finally, that the booru does not give you everything you want in a single folder, of course you'll have to collect it all yourself. (And without the aforementioned improvements) People new to this or ones who lost their own collections, (retards) could just download this.

Thank you for asking this.
