Variant:Unknown is a tag on the Soy Booru used to describe jaks that can't be tagged as any of the existing variants. Variant:Unknowns that attempt to pass off as new variants are commonly described as coal or brimstone. Occasionally, Variant:Unknowns are described as gems, but there are exceptionally few Variant:Unknowns that take off and reach known status.
Reasons A Jak Is Variant:Unknown
- It is a new variant
- The creator failed at portraying an existing variant
- The creator took creative liberties and deformed an existing variant beyond recognition
- It is NAS
