Captainism

The emerging philosophy of Captainism revolves around the established right to rule Soyjak.party, a concept known as the mandate of 'lent. An admin who is of official succession to the previous one, either through purchasing the site or inheriting it after the other steps down, is said to hold the mandate as the rightful administrator. This emerged in part to resolve the faction wars that would begin after transfers of power.

"Captainism" as it is currently is not a true belief system but a method of gaining administrative powers that bypasses the justification of the mandate of 'lent and instead uses illicit methods to take control of the site. These are near universally considered illegitimate usurpations of power which often lead to immense chaos on the site but it survives as path to power for many who desire to rule the 'sharty.

Captain Coal

The first of the Captains and the most significant. By using the default vichan admin account which Soot forgot to delete, Captain Coal was able to begin his short-lived reign of coally terror. Arbitrary bans, IP reveals and thread deletions swept over the site. His most enduring legacy may be the creation of /plier/ which still exists today, abiet hidden.

Captain Cob

Did the same as Captain Coal but because he was a pussy who didn't want the jannies to ban him afterwards he did jack shit apart from warning Doll about the security breach.
