Filterspam is a method of spamming that exploits certain wordfilters (as of now, the Christmas filters) to surpass the max character limit for posts (20000). It is often combined with font effects like, big text, glow text, or

spintext

in order to create an eyesoring effect, take up more space, or cause lag. It is similar to dotspamming as it seems to be used to derail threads a user of this method may not like.
