14Nate_Higgers88, commonly known simply as Nate, is a Minecraft player who frequents the Soyjakparty Minecraft Server. He is frequently posted about on the 'party by a fellow Minecraft player known as Azuf (whose name is derived from his former tripcode).
While Azuf's Nate posting was considered by many soyjak.party users to be coal and a forced meme, Soot appeared to endorse it in a Strawpoll he made featuring a list of potential boards he would make, listing one of them "/nate/". [2] However, he said that if this option won, he would name the board "/coal/" with "nate" as its subtitle. [3] After receiving 12 votes (21.43% of all votes, placing second after /caca/), the board was created as a hidden meme board. However Soot decided to listen to the sommunity (soy community) and instead of naming it /coal/, he named it /nate/.
