Alternate History is a genre of speculative fiction of stories in which one or more historical events occur and are resolved differently than in real life. It usually consists of various scenarios like for example "What if Germans won World War II" and "What if the South won the Civil War?" and is enjoyed primarily by Chads who play Hearts of Iron IV.

Wolfenstein: The New Order and Wolfenstein: The New Colossus are alternative history video game which depicts a dystopian America after a successful Nazi invasion. All minorities (especially Jews and Black people) are rounded up and geocoded, yet there's still enough of them to form a resistance somehow. The series features hyper-advanced technology courtesy of a MacGuffin.
The Man in the High Castle
