History

The first ever SMV was the "I F***ing Love Science" SMV which was created sometime during 2022. Many other SMV's were created after it.

Popularity

SMV's are very popular amongst tourists and 'teens alike, gaining thousands of views on YouTube and possibly, other social media websites like Twitter.
