The Great Soyset

The Great Soyset refers to a still on-going event that started on 4chan's /qa/ board on 2021-11-03. During the event, the board was wiped clean of every non-meta thread, leaving 13 threads including the board sticky. This effectively removed most of the soyjaks posted on the board. Furthermore, it became impossible to post due to ongoing maintenance.
In the early stages, it was suggested that the The Great Soyset was carried out in response to a recent raid perpetrated against the /lgbt/ board.[1]
Roughly an hour after the event started, an IRC screenshot surfaced which allegedly showed a 4chan mod commenting on it.[2] According to this alleged mod, the event was likely carried out because /qa/ "sucked", suggesting that the board is about to be closed down for good. It remains unconfirmed whether this IRC user is actually a mod.
Soot's alleged involvement
One anonymous user on /soy/ suggested that soot was actually behind OCS (Operation Clean stable)[3], though mentioning this will cause soot loyalists to immediately flood the thread with accusations of "anti-sootist thought", "thoughtcrime", and accusations of being a kuz shill or kuz himself[4]
The alleged motive for soots creation of OCS is to drive users off /qa/ and into the 'party, where he can datamine them further, and potentially sell the farmed data to the Russian Government in exchange for secret documents on thrembo and poop2. This structure is known as "Operation Lukhanofka", and is essentially a Poop2 trafficking ring which soot utilizes to fuel "Project 19", another plan created by soot for more datamining.[5]
