Sonic The Hedgehog (or more shortly, Sonic) is the video game series that unites all the autists, soyboys (and trannies) unlike the bing bing wahoo man he's an animal, which also means furries are in the fanbase.
History
it was made by a failing video game company called SEGA in the 80s and they were tired of getting BTFO'd by nintendo and super mario. so they made a competitor to him, Sonic The Hedgehog, who is a blue spikey quilled rodent who runs really fast.
The first game (1991) was pretty good, so they obviously cashed in on the shekels and made Sonic 2, who introduced the Aryan Tails. then Sonic 3 (which had to be split into two versions) introduced Knuckles the Nigger, who is strong and beats up sonic, and easily manipulated by EGGman (or robotnik?) just like a real nigger. these games were really good and held up since it's time. especially sonic 3.
then after that they made a bunch of failed spin offs and shit no one cared about because they'd rather play the new cool nintendo 64 which was in 3D. so they made a sega saturn which failed even harder and caused them to scrap a shit shack of a game called "Sonic X-TREME" which claimed to be the better Mario 64 (snopes:bullshit) then when that failed they just decided to go on damage control and make Sonic Jam which is just a collection of the SEGA genesis sonic games and one 3D Hubworld which was cool i guess, but nothing compared to the monopoly the N64 had. Oh and one weird racing game (running) with annoying ass music.
So they had to make a new console generation, starting with the SEGA Dreamcast, where the game Sonic Adventure, redesigned Sonic to be taller, longer quills, slightly darker blue, have green eyes, and have a voice (Ryan Drummond who follows the church of satan on xitter btw) and the same thing with all the other characters. This was great because it let them write more interesting stories and stuff. and sonic isn't a silent protagonist anymore. then they made sonic adventure which was slightly more linear and had Shadow The Hedgehog introduced (who is chud if xhe was a hedgehog)
Fanbase
Sonic since around 2009 has had a bunch of autists and trannies and furries in their fanbase, who go to conventions and wear costumes, while drawing all kinds of abominations on the 'art and other fetish shit. a notable one would be Chris Chan. an autist turned troon who raped his own mother and got away with it.
