Steganography (also called Soyganograpgy) is the practice of embedding hidden data inside images. Despite 4chan having built in filters to prevent it, it is a common technique used by Lee<nowiki/>baiters to post cheese. This technique is also used by Glowchads to distribute cheese pizza.
Steganography (also called Soyganograpgy) is the practice of sharing an image that holds a concealed image, message, or icon, inside. Another form of steganography, not visible to the "naked eye", is using special software to embed extra images or messages in the file contents of images that be shared around, that only people with the same software tools can see.

The most common soyganography technique used on /qa/ is hiding images in the second frame of a GIF. This is achieved by setting the delay on the first frame to a high number, so it looks like a normal still image (sometimes a soyjak). Lee generally responds to these posts with the "And before you fags start implying" copypasta explaining how to view the hidden cheese. If Lee hasn't responded to bait GIFs, a frog poster will usually say "I'm going to start implying" with a magnifying glass pepe.<blockquote>And before you fags start implying, it's a gif, and if you load it and wait long enough, it turns into Fagmark's pickle pony avatar. Or if you open the gif in Photoshop, GIMP, Preview, EZGif, etc. it can show both frames immediately.

Steganography (also called Soyganograpgy) is the practice of sharing an image that holds a concealed image, message, or icon, inside. This can mean hiding a soyjak in the corner of a regular image or flashing cheese in a seemingly static gif, also known as Stealthjakking. Another form of steganography, not visible to the "naked eye", is using special software to embed extra images or messages in the file contents of images that be shared around, that only people with the same software tools can see.

Image Embedding

4chan has played whack-a-mole with image embedders ever since sink posting.[1] Recently, browser extensions like Third Eye and P.E.E. from /cumg/, briefly manage to evade 4chan's filters.
