Revision as of 15:53, 20 May 2023

A page in the style of https://wiki.bibanon.org/4chan/History but for Soyjak.party

this page has high potential to become the hub of events in the wiki and general happenings

I agree. I will start logging every happening

nice article shitheads

Currently there's no granular timeline of events, we could build it here.

this has big potential to be one of the gemmist articles here

be sure to update it, dont let this gem be forgotten. keep working

I don't recall any mention of splinter sites on august 24 in that thread. it was just some angry janitor.

when will pre-kuz history be added

theres almost nothing in the 2020/21 sections or anything about the site prior to kuz taking over

We only began logging events to soyjak.party/History in 2022. Feel free to retroadd any dates you remember.

page quality is falling

>needs more cites

>needs better explanations

>needs more in depth tracking of history

>keeps missing important events

Issue with an archive of an important thread

A moderator made a thread on /q/ to explain the events of May 12, but it would seem the archives of it miss the first couple hundred posts in that thread.

More specifically, when comparing the active thread - https://soyjak.party/q/thread/83770.html - and the archive - https://sp.logwarehouse.net/read.cgi/q/83770 - it would appear as if posts No. 83771 through No. 83930 are missing from the archived version of the thread. That's the first 150 posts, which is far too much to be acceptable in a historic thread. I will find an alternative solution as soon as I can (likely I will use an offsite archiver). In the mean time, the page will be missing some details relating to the events of May the 12th.
