Touhou Project, often shortened to Touhou or Troonhou or Trannyhou, is a fictional group of anime girls that are very popular on the hell pits of 4chan such as /jp/ and /bant/, though the series is also well known on 4chan in general. Some people off their meds may try to tell you that these characters actually come from a series of video games but this conspiracy theory has been debunked by Snopes and other independent fact checkers. There are also some Touhou related 'jaks.[1]
