Quarantine
The Covid-19 Quarantine, most commonly shorthanded as Quarantine, was a mystical period of time that lasted from March 2020 to some time in 2021 (exact time varies by location). It is a time when even normies lived the NEET lifestyle as shut-ins, everyone wore the mask, and everyone lived in the pods. It is closely related to soyjaks due to the Klaus Schwab craze that succeded, and the tyranical mandates for the vaccines that alter your DNA and give you blood clots.
The Quarantine is directly blamed for societal degeneration. On the internet, it is explained as the reason algorithm slut "culture" rapidly grew, such as the goth gf you'll never find IRL, femboy hooters, and other one-dimensional characitures that only exist in porn and your average Discord server.
Ultimately, all mentions of Covid-19 faded into the background. Shortly afterwards, the "current thing" became wars about Shit Nobody Cares About. Nowadays, the political compass has been replaced by a four condition graph on which country you support in the Russo-Ukrainian War and the Israel-Hamas War.
