Sproke Boomer drinking "Sproke" (It's actually just carbonated water)

The "Sproke Boomer" is a fictional character and marketing entity who purportedly drank Sproke and posted his face on The Party during a CIA misinformation campaign on June 25th, 2022.[1] The character was originally appreciated by soyteens as a "chad boomer" and even touted as a possible Soot replacement[2] as well as the adoptive father of some teen in the thread.[3] He claimed to have a good life.

Exposure

BTFO

The Sproke Boomer's persona seemed to appeal to the Soy Community almost too perfectly, as though it were designed to do so.

After much discussion, the thread was revealed to be a hoax after peer-reviewed evidence was unearthed proving the Sproke Boomer's face was actually that of a stock image model employed by Shutterstock called Matthias Blume,[4] who had recently been named Coca Cola's vice president of marketing in South-East Asia.[5] When approached for comment, Mr. Blume said he might look like that but he doesn't say this.

Alleged soyjak shootings

A month after the hoax's exposure, multiple images of soyjak gore were uploaded to an unarchived thread[6] and later to the 'booru, including a video of two innocent soyjaks being shot.[7] Observant viewers noticed that these shootings occurred at the same gun range in which the Sproke Boomer had earlier photographed himself shooting a gun, leading Snopes to fact-check the truth that he was behind the shootings, likely motivated by the exposure of his ploy.
