SuBooru (link), also known as The Great Library of Soy, was the third iteration of a Booru-style imageboard ran for the Soy Community as a respository of soyical artwork. As the .su domain name implied, SuBooru was hosted in the Soviet Union.
SuBooru was home to over 7,800 soyjaks.[1]
History
After OnionsBooru was closed down by its operator lolkekkeklmaolmaolmaoxdhaha for unknown reasons, which itself had been established after SoyBooru was purged from its host website, SuBooru was established on January 19th, 2022.
The site started out with about 5,000 jaks,[2] rescued from previous projects. Some time later, at least some comments threads were imported from deceased OnionsBooru.[3]
On February 19th, 2022, the redirect domain basedjak.su was accquired for easy 4chan shilling.
On March 26th, 2022, the site was shut down, with the admin claiming he was fed up with tripfag drama and didnt like the party in its current state.[4] A dump of all images and tags was also provided in a mega.nz download link.
Mascot
The logo of SuBooru was a fishjak from post no°693.[5]
