The day /soy/ became #soy

In the eleventh of september, 2023, sharty admins decided to turn /soy/ into a discord channel. The board got a reskin similar to the 2023 April Fools event.

Censorship was implemented, filtering certain words and swapping them with other words such as "Car transmission", "N*". Names were changed to contain a randomly generated discord tag. The whole layout of the page was changed to resemble Discord.

The quest for 'cord tag GET #1488

Because 'teens are selfish little fucks who love gambling and taking GETs, a thread that encouraged 'teens to take the tag GET #1488 was created, because it's le funny hitler number or something. Clocking at nearly 2000 replies as of now, many decided to try their luck to obtain said get, by replying to the thread with rollposts that sometimes included gems, sometimes coals, and other times no images at all, just text.

Specialists have calculated that the chance to obtain the tag GET #1488 is of 1 in 10000. Some close calls were made, but the GET still hasn't been obtained yet.

Accusations of forgery by the 'sharty managers

A group of schizos claimed getting the tag GET #1488 is impossible because apparently the managers tampered with the system by completely eliminating the possibility of obtaining tag GET #1488, some claim that atleast one post has gotten the GET but was instantly reverted to another random number, probably using an evil fedware that monitors tag numbers.One schizo even claimed that he found a suspicious .php element named "CIA.php" on inspect element.

The site managers denied these accusations, stating that the soyjaks.party manager team is uninvolved with any government agencies, and that there is no such thing as the supposed "fedware" that makes tag GET #1488 impossible to obtain. Take your meds.
