Dilbert is an American comic strip written and illustrated by Scott Adams, first published on April 16, 1989. It is known for its satirical office humor about a white-collar, micromanaged office with engineer Dilbert as the title character. It has spawned dozens of books, an animated television series, a video game, and hundreds of themed merchandise items. Recently, Dilbert has seen a surge of popularity on The 'Party, with Dilbert posters forming a rivalry with fans of the Dutch Tranime Ongezellig. Though Dilbert has many supporting characters like Alice (not to be confused with the Alicia Tranny 'Jak Variant of a similar name), Loud Howard, and Dogbert, the most popular characters on the 'Party in terms of edits are Diblert, Wally, and the Pointy-Haired Boss.

Dilbert compared to Ongezellig

The post in question. Note the calm Science Lover Wally and hanging Troonjak Mymy.

On October 21st, 2022, a Chud on Soyjak.Party made a thread explaining why Dilbert is superior to 'Zellig. He argued that Dilbert was superior to Ongezellig by noting its longevity, witty and timeless satire, and relatability, while criticizing Ongezellig dated and boring nature. This post was praised by Dilbert fans, and hated by Ongezellig fans. However, it seems this post has made many more Chuds aware of Dilbert, and thus many more Dilbert threads have popped up afterwards.
