It's widely agreed upon that /pol/ is currently a politically themed random board due to extremely [[coal|low quality]] content and [[spam]] posted regularly (this includes: bait/shill posts, NSFW content, sperging and schizoposting). The large drop in quality can be attributed to the fact of /pol/'s massive rise in popularity during and after the election of Donald Trump when /pol/ was frequently mentioned in the mainstream media, this caused a massive influx of newfags who weren't adapted to the culture, with various conflicting political opinions to flood the board.  
FBI interns, CIA niggers, bots and tranny cliques on /pol/ also frequently use porn or lust provoking images to trick cumbrained cucks into giving them (You)s and seduce poor truth seeking souls, often using hispanic, black and asian women, sometimes even jewish IDF whores.
 
In conclusion, the board is nothing more than a shadow of its former self with nothing to offer, but constant shitflinging. It gets repetetive and, if you already know about the JQ and government putting estrogen into your water, just a waste of time.

Originally, /pol/ started as a spin-off of /new/ 8 months after it was deleted, this deletion was due to the fact that a large portion of the users on /new/ were "far-right" or "nazis" which caused the moderators of 4chan to delete the board entirely before creating /pol/.
