Cause of Death: Kolyma Network disbanded
The Afterparty, or the Log Warehouse, (located at sp.logwarehouse.net)(DO NOT CLICK ITS INFECTED WITH A BAJILLION JAVA SCRIPTS) was the official archival site of soyjak.party (just like how sites such as 4plebs or archived.moe are to 4cuck). It is named after the archives used for 2channel. It uses the vichan API to archive posts, and only would archive something if it had been up for one hour (to minimize the possibility of dancing_swede.mp4 getting into the ‘chive). It was NOT open-source, and did NOT use anything like Asagi or Foolfuuka to run the site, meaning that it looked quite different than your typical imageboard or imageboard archive site.[1] The afterparty commonly had complaints of being slow, and the site frequently went down. Doll has said in a Q&A that he would use something else for an archive.
On June 21, 2023, DOLL posted that, at least for now, the archive is down.[2]
History
Kuz has long promised an official ‘chive for the sharty. At one point, he was working with an Italian to establish such an archive. There are no archiving stacks for Vichan, the software would have to be custom-made.[3] However, after the Italian ghosted him, there was no news on the status of the ‘chive for a long while. Eventually thoughever, Kuz decided to dedicate several Kolyma engineers to pumping out the archive as soon as possible, as by now many ‘teens felt that it was long overdue. The source code for the after party is a classified Kolyma State secret. A few days later, the archive opened. At first it only archived a few boards, but later expanded to ‘chive almost all of them.
The Italian was listed as a public enemy of the Kolyma Network.[4]
