The basic Eat The Bugs Soyjak.

Eat The Bugs Soyjak, also known as Feral Soyjak and You WILL Soyjak is a popular Soyjak variant, which features a semi-realistic soy face looking at the viewer with an angry expression. He is one of the most violent and aggressive Soyjaks, and has been known to break out into fits of rage. [1] [2] [3] He is rarely seen expressing any kind of positive emotion. He hates chuds who don't eat their bugs, wear their mask, social distance, or accept the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Usage

Eat The Bugs Soyjak is sometimes used with the copypasta shown in the image below, or similar posts, though other Soyjaks are often used with these copypastas as well. Most commonly, he is simply used to allege that someone is angry.

"EAT THE BUGS" copypasta.

Origin

Sam Hyde. Soyentists who believe Hyde inspired ETB Soyjak cite as evidence his pose and facial expression in this image, [4] both similar to those of the 'jak.
Anthony Fantano. Soyentists who believe Fantano inspired ETB Soyjak cite similarities between Fantano's facial features and glasses and those of ETB Soyjak, among other things. [5]

Unlike many other Soyjaks, who Eat The Bugs Soyjak was traced from is seemingly unknown, but the matter has been the subject of much speculation and remains a schism in the Soy Community. [6] Some soyentists (soy scientists) believe ETB Soyjak was based on Sam Hyde, [7] while others believe Anthony Fantano was the basis for this classic 'jak. [8] Even some outside the Soy Community have noticed similarities between Fantano and Eat The Bugs Soyjak. [9] [10] Most discussions on this highly contentious subject lead to debates between these two schools of thought, however, until the exact image ETB Soyjak was traced from is found or the original artist steps forward to confirm its origin, the matter shall remain a mystery. A false contender was accidentally found in the fall of 2021 when Former Knowyourmeme user Vinluv Handesbukia discovered that James Gunn posing for a photo to advertise the suicide squad looked strikingly similar to ETB. James Gunn and ETB share many similar phenotypes and iconic wrathful pose, leading to most ill informed Jakkers to belive they are of the same. However, due to the dates of production it was ruled out my most professional soyologists, including Vinluv Himself. [13] A fringe minority of soyentists have declared that this 'jak was not traced from any image and is in fact an original drawing, [11] but this contradicts the soyentific consensus so you should ignore them, trust the science, and eat the bugs.

His first known appearance was on 4channel's /v/ board. [12]
