Chudjak, sometimes also called Poljak, is a Wojak variant that was made to mock right-win /pol/ users. He is characterized by his vaguely Asian-looking eyes, his thick-framed glasses and a distinct lack of chin. Although Chudjaks were intended to mock right-wing internet users, it is used nowadays just like any other soyjak variant regardless of politics. Some /pol/ users have made leftists or tranny Chudjak edits, and pointed the similarity between Chudjak and some leftists like r/antiwork's moderator Dooren Ford. While others have used them as self insert images and made some Roman art parodies showing that chuds indeed look like that and say that.
The word "Chud" stands for "Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dweller", which comes from the 1984 science fiction horror movie C.H.U.D.
Origin
The origin of the Chudjak is disputed, but it is said that an earlier front-facing version of the Chudjak, originally called "le /pol/ face", originated on the German imageboard Kohlchan to make fun of raiding /pol/ users before the currently popular "Wojakified" version was created some time in mid-2020 on the now-defunct website Bunkerchan.
Status As A Soyjak
Currently, there's no consensus on whether Chudjak should be considered a soyjak or not. Some people consider Chudjak to not be a soyjak due to lack of defining soyboy features (open mouth and a stubble), while others consider him to be as valid as any other soyjak since the usage is pretty much the same, and he is as soy as any other self insert soyjak like Wholesome Soyjak and Impish Soyak Ears. SoyBooru currently allows all Chudjak edits.
The usage of Chudjaks in Soy Duels is generally despised, although in 2022 Chudjak vs Trannyjak edits saw an increase in popularity, and are probably the most popular type of dueling these days.
