A bunker is an imageboard meant to serve as a temporary refuge for users of a bigger imageboard whose servers are currently down. In the past, 4chan used to have bunkers when it wasn’t as big as it is now, with sites like 8chan, 7chan, and a couple more obscure ones like plus4chan serving as places where displaced oldfags could go to spam more shitty desu memes. Today, bunker sites are few and far between, but they still exist, such as some on places like endchan for sharty ‘teens. One could argue soyjak.party was a bunker for /qa/, even though this wasn't its intended purpose.

Sharty Bunkers

Multiple bunkers have existed for soyjak.party throughout its history, mostly in the Soypocalypse. The first was devyach.net/party/ and the second was hosted on this very wiki, at bunker.soyjak.wiki, alTHOUGH image posting was shut down on both after cecefem spammed 'p on the bunkers (but for the latter bunker it soon came up). Some other bunkers, like soyjak.in and some sketchy pythonanywhere sites, also existed, though the bunker boards themselves have all now been shut down. There has also been some shitty der cord' bunkers such as "/raid/ bunker", it was after Doll raped /raid/.

How to Set up a Bunker

You probably shouldn’t if you’re asking this question. If you really need to set one up though, get some decent hosting, a domain, and then work on installing an imageboard engine of your choice (preferably something like vichan though). Get some decent jannies as soon as possible as well. You can also make a shitty Discord but preferably don't.
