Flagging is a type of booru vandalism/spamming where someone makes a bunch of incredibly low effort edits of a variant by photoshopping country flags into the 'jak. Its main purpose is to inflate the variant's post count.
When they somehow run out of countries they also may start editing in American state flags, political ideologies or gender flags.
Origin
The roots of flagging can be traced back to the Cobson-Feraljak War, where both sides spammed country flag edits in order to overtake the other side in post counts. The first example of flagging in action though was the Cobson Gangnam Style dance spam.
