/nate/ - Coals is a board on the Sharty. It's basically Nigger Hell. It has been compared to 4chan /trash/ and features similar content. NSFW coal is either moved to >>>/nate/ or deleted by Janny, but you can also post a thread on there.

It was always hidden until the last few days before the Soypocalypse. As of February 2nd, the board remains visible. The board was changed back to hidden when the top bar was updated on March 11th, 2024. /nate/ has 25 40 pages and catalog wiping it is permitted.

And since Doll decided to unhide it, all of this is now accessible from the top bar. Thanks, Doll! It is hidden again.

For a short time, NSFW reigned, free from catty wipes, thanks to the flood filter. When the filter was changed/removed from /nate/, they fell off. Nowadays, 90% of the board is just catty wipes.

Catty Wiping

Some time after the Second Great Purchase, even though catty wiping is a bannable offense for every other board, an exception was made for /nate/ specifically. This allowed any chud to take over the entire board for a few hours with whatever forced meme or margerald they choose. Every thread had a bump limit of 15 as well, and the pages were reduced to 5. The reason being that 100+ reply furry generals and porn dump threads were being created which is le bad. In mid-January 2024 this was changed for unknown reasons, raising the bump limit to 30 and increasing the amount of pages to 25. A thread creation limit was also added, which limits to 20 the maximum amount of threads that may be created each hour.

It's a great board if you want to practice your catty-wiping skills for raids. It is also a last resort for forcing a meme to try and gain any sort of notoriety.

Nate Nigga

Nate Nigga or Nate Negro is the personification and unofficial mascot of /Nate/. He has scars all over his body and has his penis cut off. He is also considered a Gem but is not well known.

Goon Wars

On March the 16, an anti-goon spammer targetted /nate/ before reaching the bump limit. A thread on /soy/ was made to coordinate and bump anti-gooner posts. Soon after the hourly thread limit ended, the gooners responded with their own spam.

The next day, an anti-goon spammer managed to somehow get past the hourly thread limit and send several Ankha furry porn threads to page 40. Immediately, the gooners thought it was a janny behind the spam, and proceeded to seethe about it until the spam was temporarily stopped. The spam then continued with a different image.

The war managed to crash the site with the amount of new threads and replies being made in /nate/, as well as the anti-goon spammers utilizing the ability to use 4 images at a time for each thread.
