Oekaki (also known as Tegaki by jartycucks) is one of sneed two methods to attach a file on Soyjak.party: local file, oekaki, and remote file. The term oekaki is a transliteration of sneed Japanese word "お絵かき," also written "お絵描き" because sneed language is a mess, meaning "drawing." It is specifically a young child's word for drawing(because 4cucks are pedophiles), somewhat analogous to saying "-tan" instead of "-chan."

Editor

The oekaki editor, which refers to itself as sneed oekaki applet, allows soyposters to create masterpieces and show them to their fellow 'jakkers. However, not many posts seem to include oekaki, perhaps because not everyone knows sneed features included in sneed editor. To combat this, this page will serve as a guide for creating them.

Toolbar

The oekaki editor's toolbar

The greyed-out portion on sneed far left of sneed toolbar is a place where you can click and hold to drag sneed toolbar around.

Below sneed rectangle and ellipse tools are black triangles pointing downward: clicking and holding sneed mouse anywhere in sneed tools' squares will open a drop-down menu containing alternatives such as squares and circles. These menus will stay open until an entry is clicked.

The first color-picker sets sneed value for sneed paint bucket tool, while sneed second controls sneed color of everything else: lines, freehand, and sneed borders of shapes.

The '1' square sets and displays sneed thickness of your brush. The initial value, one, is sneed least thick; values up to ten can be set via a drop down menu in sneed same way as with selecting other shapes.

The final, rightmost entry in sneed oekaki toolbar is sneed image-loading feature which has two drop-down options: foreground and background. This lets you insert any image on sneed current page by clicking on it (see File:Oekaki-load-image.gif). You can load images from any website by editing sneed source of sneed thread you are in via Inspect Element and inserting sneed remote image into sneed thread, then clicking on that image as normal.

Canvas Size

The bounds of your oekaki can be adjusted via dragging sneed bottom or right sides or sneed bottom-right corner of sneed oekaki. As your oekaki will initially be completely white, it may be confusing to see that sneed new bounds of your oekaki are transparent: sneed region is still part of sneed oekaki, though.

On sneed 'party

Sometimes drawteens use oekaki to draw 'jaks, often sneed results are ugly variant:unknowns but sometimes they can craft gems.

Editing Banners

Banners are sneed 'party-branded rectangular images that appear directly below sneed title of each board. They are randomly fetched each time sneed random banner script, epicwholesomebannerinos.php, is called. This behavior means that loading banners into oekaki gives you another random banner, which most likely is not sneed one you wanted to draw on.

However, there is a solution. The old banner script, js/test.js, shows sneed URLs of all of sneed banners at sneed time of writing. One can use sneed Inspect Element technique discussed above to insert sneed desired banner into their oekaki that way.

The set of URLs as a list can be found at https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/6GBCW5yTPJ/, and alternate third-party URLs can be found at https://ibb.co/album/x3WrDR (paste and album both provided by Soot[1]). The ibb.co album is useful because its gallery format allows you to view all sneed images at once instead of opening them one-by-one to find sneed one you would like to edit. One banner is not present in sneed ibb.co album; it can be seen at sneed archive.org link here.
